What exactly is Adrenaline Sports & Fitness?

 

ASF is an experience.  Yes, we train young athletes and fitness-conscious adults.  Yes, we have the latest and greatest equipment and gadgets.  But, we are not a gym in the true sense.  ASF is all about producing results, from performance enhancement to favorable changes in body composition.  Whatever you want, we can provide!

   
 

 Can any athlete train at ASF?

 

Yes! Yes! Yes! We do not discriminate based on ability level or skill development.  We provide tools to make you a better athlete, both physically and mentally.  Whether you are an eight year old just getting started in sports or an elite professional athlete, we guarantee results!

   
 

What do you mean that you guarantee results?

 

Plain and simple:  If you show up for your training sessions and do not see a measurable improvement in at least one test variable [i.e. speed, agility, strength, power, etc.], we will refund all your money!   See for yourself, there really is nothing to lose, and everything to gain!

   
 

How do I sign up?

 

Registering for training at ASF is a two-step process:

STEP ONE—Come in for a tour and ask any questions that you may have.  It is at this time that you will receive the New Member Packet, detailing the process to join.  You will also schedule a time and day to go through the ASF evaluation process.  This will help determine what program is best for you to enter.

STEP TWO—This step involves the athlete going through a Physical Assessment [ASFPA] to measure his/her strengths and weaknesses.  Also included is a brief Athlete Profile [ASFAP] to gain a better understanding of the athlete on a personal level.

Combining the ASFPA and the ASFAP will guide the staff on the protocol for each athlete.

   
  Is there an age restriction to training at ASF?
  Currently, we have a minimum age requirement of eight years old.
   
  It is going to cost a lot, isn’t it?
  How much is a lot? Anything worth having will cost you something, right? We are not the cheapest and we are not the most expensive. ASF will give you best value for your money, however. With each training session, you will receive your choice of a Gatorade shake, protein drink, or Meal Replacement for FREE! Who else can say that? Please contact us for the best training options for your budget.
   
  What will the training program consist of?
  ASF training programs will be a marriage between what the athlete desires and what we believe the athlete to need. Sometimes they are not always the same! Some general considerations include:
Frequency per week
In-season vs. Off-season protocols
Physical and emotional maturation
Previous injuries
Multi-sport status
Skill demands of sport and position
Metabolic demands of sport and position

Some of the specific variables that will be addressed are listed below:

  Can adults train at ASF?
  Yes! ASF offers personal and semi-private training for adults. We will also provide Adults-only Boot Camps, designed to maximize conditioning and fitness in a very intense setting. These classes have a proven track record as getting a person into the best shape of their lives! This specialized training will take place inside ASF on our Astroturfâ surface.
   
  How important is nutrition to an athlete?
  Nutrition is arguably more important than training whether you are an athlete or not! We believe in the following continuum of success for any person who wishes to maximize his/her physical potential: YOUR TRAINING IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR NUTRITION AND RECOVERY PRACTICES.
If all you do is train, don’t expect your potential to be reached! ASF, along with Dawn Weatherwax, RD, will assist each athlete with nutritional recommendations to maximize results. We will carry proven and safe supplements to further enhance your success.
